The project of Minhang Museum in Shanghai

The Shanghai Minhang Museum was finished construction and opened to the public in March, 2003. There are two exhibition part, the Maqiao Culture exhibition and Chinese musical instruments exhibition. And due to the urban planning of Shanghai, the museum was move to the new place in August, 2012. And the new museum hall was starting to build in November, 2012. The new museum building’s construction based on the first class standard of Chinese museum building. Now the new museum is located in the South-west side of the culture park and become the new landmark of Shanghai’s city culture. The whole museum building covers a construction area of 15,000 squaremeters with 2 overground floors and 1 underground floor. The new museum increased more exhibition halls based on the old museum and play a great role in developing and expanding the culture.
