ZETES III 2×660MW power plant project of Turkey

Financing of 1,320 MW ZETES 3 thermal plant project to be carried out by Eren Enerji at Çatalağzı has been granted the “Best project financing in 2013 in European, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region” by EMEA Finance. Within the scope of project with an investment of USD 1,05 billion, Garanti Bankası and İş Bankası extended a credit of USD 800 million, which makes it the highest financing extended for an energy investment in Europe in year 2013. Currently ZETES 1 and 2 thermal plants with an installed power of 1.390 MW in total are running and upon completion of 1.320 MW ZETES 3 project, Eren Enerji’s ZETES thermal power plant project will reach to an installed power of 2.710 MW and become the largest power plant of Turkey and will meet 8% of the energy need of Turkey.
